The major selling point for the lodge is its position and anyone who has stayed there will confirm that. On a slightly elevated and very private piece of ground, the lodge faces south looking down the valley over the Exmoor countryside with a very sunny, enclosed garden in front, with decking, and off-road parking for at least two vehicles.
All bed linen and bath towels are provided and the beds are made up for your arrival. Electric heaters in all the rooms keep the lodge very cosy and snug, even on the coldest evenings.
There is a BBQ and comfortable garden furniture for outdoor dining and loads of information brochures on local attractions and places to eat.
There are three bedrooms:
- A double room with 5ft bed, south-facing French doors on to the decking and built-in dressing table and cupboards
- A twin room with built-in cupboard
- A bunk room with chest of drawers
The bathroom has a bath with a really good shower over, a basin, heated towel rail and toilet.
The very large kitchen is very well equipped and has a large fridge/freezer and ample storage space.
Pets:
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the lodge and there are lovely walks around the locality without the need for a car. We allow a maximum of two dogs and make a charge of £20 per dog per week. We do ask that dogs stay off all the furniture, including beds, and indeed, stay out of the bedroom area completely.
